La Pâtisserie des Rêves par Philippe Conticini

A stroll around Paris can lead you to the most unexpected places. I also learned when you wander, you are treated to the best finds. I mean, in New York it was possible, but damn. All the invaders feel your wander vibes and they interrupt your joy. Like oh, she looks unstressed, let me ask her how to take the 1 train to the East side. In Paris, no one bothers you, unless the point is to kick game. 

Strolling about, I ran into a nice surprise known as Beaugrenalle Paris. The centre has every brand represented from Desigual to Aubade to Eleven Paris. There’s also a cute little Parisian pub, called … Parisian Pub. Yes. 

Certainly a worthy option on those rainy days when art, books or shopping without a roof, just isn't doable. 

After drinks at Bermuda Onion, and just as I was leaving, I saw a glimpse of a very familiar sign and my heart started beating double time. Could it be ?? No. Yessssss !!! La Pâtisserie des Rêves par Philippe Conticini. And, guess what, this location is open EVERYDAY. Every.damn.day.

Paris Deco Off

Paris celebrates everything. Interior design shines it’s moxie during Paris Déco Off. Visually, it’s a street fair, on several rues. Stellar boutiques roll out red carpets (literally), welcoming all to take a look at all their brand has to offer. Every, everything … from rugs, to lamps, to tubs, sculpture, paintings. All that.

The streets where shop doors are open, are adorned with illuminated shades–which also carry advertising. Genius.

I captured so many scenes my hands froze. My cold, little, nubby fingers pressed on, though. Paris was looking gorgeous, I was weak. I could not resist.
