that’s not a dumb question!! an anti in regards to fandom is someone who believes that people shouldn’t be allowed to ship “bad” ships, with the qualifications of what is considered a “bad” ship usually changing from person to person. while a good chunk of antis keep to themselves some very vocal ones believe it’s okay to harass people and send them death threats based on what they ship and participate in those activities. as someone who was harassed by antis and is very much a pro-shipper i really dislike antis and would prefer if they didn’t interact with me
