This year due to covid I’ve had the pleasure of spending more time in my garden. I think what’s really amazing is that this bouquet of flowers are all grown in my garden most from seed (some perennial flowers too) and for me I just find that so special!! 3 of my favourites to grow from seed which I’d recommend to any gardeners are Cosmos, Amaranthus and Dahlias! When you grow Dahlias from seed it’s a bit of a surprise what the flowers will be (unless you grow from tuber cuttings or split the tubers and you know your then getting that variety of the same plant) but growing from seed means you could have two different parent plants so the flowers of the seeds from those two parent plants are a surprise and you won’t know the colour of them until they flower! The Dahlias in this bouquet were a surprise and gosh aren’t they a beautiful surprise? What did you grow for the first time this year which you’d recommend? #notthinghamflorist #nottinghamwedding #derbywedding #lincolnwedding #leicesterwedding #derbyflorist #homegrown #grownfromseed #bouquet #floristry #ukflorist #weddingflorist #englishgrown #greenthumb (at Nottingham, United Kingdom) https://www.instagram.com/p/CDMsINqlLCq/?igshid=1bnw0xeso22gy
