going from where s2 left off, here are potential executions:
eleanor has had a good solid heaping of Ethics, Tahani is about where she left off when she was alive. maybe they meet at a charity event, maybe they just run into each other
now I Don’t Know If This Is Or Isn’t Canon but I don’t think Eleanor gave any indication of knowing who Tahani was, and GIVEN TAHANI’S DEAL, That Would Sting. And. BECAUSE OF THAT, Tahani goes a little out of her way to make sure Eleanor knows who she is.
Name dropping isn’t enough here. it’s time to Initiate A Relationship. or at least, acquaintanceship, Tahani doesn’t need to commit to anything, she just wants to make sure she makes an impression.

Tahani gets somewhat inspired by how Eleanor seems to genuinely make an effort to care about people around her. There’s a limit to what Eleanor can do given her limited resources, and yet? And? Yet?

we’re kind of past this because eleanor’s already On The Road To Ethics, so the closest this could come to would be basically what happens in canon when they first met
but if we were to start this at Rock Bottom For Both Of Them, it’d be funny if they ended up in a confrontation (a la drunk tahani at beginning of s2)
now, beginning of s2 eleanor was actually Really Chill with Tahani
so going the chill route, tahani would try to make it up to eleanor out of a combination of guilt + saving face. Relationship Start
going the Not Chill route, they both end up Pissed Off at each other but tahani *magnanimously* pays for dry cleaning for ruined clothes or something, making some jab about the clothes not being worth the price of dry cleaning, why doesn’t she buy a replacement? it’s like a charity case :)
eleanor makes it her life goal to get back at tahani
ok. listne. I’m losing it. I am losing my goddamn mind. imagine tahani inviting eleanor to a fancy event to show off and they accidentally end of as gossip buddies shit-talking the people at the shindig, tahani is amazed to find that she’s Actually Having Fun, eleanor is amazed that Tahani’s Fun To Hang With Actually
I actually like the idea of eleanor & tahani bumping into each other by coincidence multiple times and forming a relationship from that, & I think this configuration would best acommodate that
one scenario could be tahani seeing eleanor in A Tight Spot and helping out, either using Money or Status, which Pisses Eleanor Off, Actually
