I've been compiling the non-cat (or cat with a twist) clangen comics for a bit for fun and realized it'd be fun to share them! Links in the doc to every one so you don't need to go searching !
If I missed any feel free to comment below! I haven't read 100% of the comics here, and a good number are inactive, but there are a lot of active gems on this list !

Making a Non-Cat Clangen Comic
I'm a huge fan of clangen comics, and people making versions of them to represent different animals, fandoms or settings is nothing new! (In fact I have a list of the ones I've seen so far available here) Don't take this as the only way to have fun with a non-cat or alternative clangen!
But if you've been pondering making one but you're not sure where to start, here are a few things that I use when I'm asked how I set up mine! My own clangen comic is far from perfect and there's multiple things that I'd change if I could go back in time to give my past self advice, but I enjoy making it and I'm having fun and at the end of the day that is the most important part of this whole deal
I'm using examples from other clangens I read in part of this, and I highly recommend checking them out! Warning that some example links may have some blood, animal harm or light violence for those reasons. Do you know about any purely written clangen works? This sounds cool but idk how to draw at all?
I've seen some! They usually post like Moon 1 - Part 1 POV: Examplepaw Prev Next Examplepaw stared up at the highrock where an example demonstration was taking place (text text text text) Often when graphics are used at all for these, the users will use or edit the sprites of their characters from the game or use the images from the patrol prompts ! I imagine you could use stock images for setting scenes too if you wanted to use images at all, but purely text works and I've seen it (Just don't remember any of the blogs off the top of my head)
Clangen Ask Game - for non-warriors blogs
The original meme was really warriors focused! Which is awesome, especially in the spirit of clangen, but maybe not fitting for things like the oscgen-sphere and other clangen projects using non-cats or a non-warriors setting.

There's been a recent uptick in object clangen comics lately which is genuinely really fun ! It's especially fun seeing the variety in settings and lore and character design and all that jazz !
If you're dipping your toes into the objectgen or oscgen (or any clangen comic honestly) pool I'd like to suggest that you guys uplift each other ! Reblog or shout out different comics that you find, even if your platform is small too, and try to be supportive
