Gotham had become crowded recently, there were so many little gangs popping up and fighting for territory. It was all quite annoying that Harley decided to let Batman and the other villains sort things out. He left to vacation over in Bludhaven, a great change of pace from the cluttered chaos of Gotham. Harley would be able to cause some trouble in relative peace and the best part was to find an old friend.  It wasn’t difficult to find Nightwing, go where there were thugs making trouble and wait. Didn’t take long for the vigilante to come stop the group of thugs robbing a jewelry store. Harley sat back across the street and watched the fight unfold and the thugs tied up and left for the police to pick up. Once it was all over Harley stepped out from his hiding spot. 

“Now that you’re done kicking ass, have some time for little ol’ Harley?~” He asked with a grin. “Its good to see you Dick.”

They worked.

Somehow, despite Jason's misgivings, they worked.

Dick was still around, happily upholding and valuing Jason's conditions as their bond intensified, and Jason felt himself relax. He was protected. He wasn't alone.

They hunted. They patrolled. They spent hours just being together, sharing a space, and, whenever Jason needed it, he spent his time alone. Never far. And Dick was there for him when he got back.

Before Jason realized how much time had passed, he felt the telltale itch rolling underneath his skin as he made them coffee in the morning. His stomach clenched, and Jason shuddered, his body latching on to Dick's lingering scent in the apartment.

All he had to do was go to the bedroom and -

Jason tensed, and he breathed through the initial weak wave, gripping the kitchen counter. God bless they already had a stocked up pantry and medicine cabinet; the thought of having to leave the house had Jason slightly panicked.

Richard stood in the doorway as he gazed over at Bacchus who was content playing on the floor. He moved over to him and gently kissed his forehead. "I am going to be leaving on my trip now. I'll be gone for just the night I should be back tomorrow by lunch. The Nightraven is going to be expecting you to wait for him tonight. Go to the roof by where we keep the owls he will meet you there. Alright my sunshine?"

Bacchus looked up soon as he received the kiss on the forehead and pouted a little, his hands reached up and cupped Richard's cheeks to bring his face close and the blond pressed a peck to his lips. Then, stood up and accompanied him to the door, to see his leave.

"Kie, stay safe." Bacchus smiled and blushed a little on the cheeks. "And come back soon."

With a nod he assured the other he understood where to meet the hero who saved his life a few months before, and his thin arms wrapped around Richard's body the way he could to squish him in a hug. "I'll miss you, agapio."

Roy walked up behind Dick and wrapped his arms around his chest, settling his chin on the other man’s shoulder. “Hey, handsome. I’ve missed you.”

Jason Todd had found God. Well, ok, he sort of has. He’s a priest, and he loves God. Sure, but more importantly, he loves the hope he can give people through God. Loves how he can help those who have fallen, help them find a good path- child or old, man or woman, he can help them all. 

It’s like being a hero but... less violent. 

Even villains. More than once he has housed one of the big baddies in Gotham, and he likes to hope he has helped them too. The door is opened for everyone. 

So when a young man walked in, drenched in the Gotham rain, he smiled kindly from the alter and turned to look at him, “Welcome, brother. How may I aid you?”

“A batboy or a bad boy?” Wally grinned somewhat, as if it had been his plan all along. He didn’t want to be the idiot here on his own. “You won’t like me anymore if I sit behind a steeringwheel. You drive.”

A Bird and an Alien

Jon checked his phone as he heard a *ping* a new contract was put online for some rich assholes head, high paying and even for gotham standards. With a gleeful smile he knew exactly who to include on the hit. 

Racing from roof top to roof top he dropped into a sky light as he landed in the center of a living room area surrounded by hideous and creepy looking owls. He whistled as he called for the man. “Hey rich boy, we got a job, you in or are you chicken? Oh sorry i mean owl.” He chuckled to himself as he waited for a response, lighting a cigarette.

Damain just stood there with an unchanged expression, not even bother helping his brother and waited patiently. “I’m pretty sure you know HOW to get her pregnant and no I am quite sane, despite what other may think.” He goes up to Dick and pointed a finger at his chest. “It’s YOU that is out of your mind. Honestly, at Titan Tower? Please tell me you use protection at lest.”
