So...you probably already made a post about this, but what are your thoughts on the TADC latest drama??

I haven’t, actually, and with good reason!

In all honesty, I have mixed feelings about this fandom. From the get-go, with all of the content farming, I knew that there would be tricky audience, to say the least. But I wasn’t anticipating how problematic the loud minority would be — for instance, the Ragatha hate from her crash out, post-episode 5. Now, they’ve acted out again, but this time, displacing their anger at the completely wrong person.

I won’t go too into depth about this, since I’d hate to contribute to all the negativity circulating the fans, but in all honesty, I’m not surprised at all. The TADC fandom is very privileged with the VAs’ charity streams, covering fan songs and being involved with the community (especially with GLITCH having a very open mind to all of this through cons + panels being frequent). Is it risky of me to say we’re spoiled in that regard?

On a bit more of a personal note, it’s also Ramadan and I’d hate to surround myself with negativity around all of the drama when there are loads of creators who have nothing but amazing content to share and make me happy instead. ❤️

Anyways, I’m all for the #loveforgooseworx stuff going around, and I’m so glad she’s finally receiving a ton of support from the kindhearted majority of the fandom and is allowing herself to prioritise her wellbeing. She deserves it! Can’t wait for what Gooseworx Appreciation week brings :)
