oki i am gonna give a VERY VERY BASIC idea of how the under realm works because if i give every detail we gonna be here for 3 hours
theres no single “hell" for the whole planet earth , in fact its divided regionally and its ever changing with the cultural and geographical shift of Earth , but the present “western” Hell is called Nova Inferno and its basically right under the atlantic ocean and its about 2 sizes bigger than Australia , the under realm has its own seas that lead to other “undercontinents” and islands and they all have their different customs and cultures vastly different working systems apart of Nova Inferno.
Nova Inferno is divided into districts , and while it has its own population its also a cultural melting pot for other regions that come to do business down there and has also big communities of displaced Earth realm creatures and spirits , that doesnt mean they are “bad” or “evil” it just means they have been living here because cultural and spiritual shifts on Earth has made the way they lived in impossible to maintain, and one of the main objective spirit rules is that you cannot force humans to perceive you if they arent mentally open to it , humans can only perceive what their minds are open to.
While there is 7 districts pertaining to the 7 sins or 7 kings, this wasnt always the case and its only a system thats been put in place for only the past few millenia as a way to keep track of the population and the different working forces. And sin district doesnt dictate complete personality or even the job you would have, its just a “i was born here, i moved here or theres resources here that arent as available in my born district” type of deal.
Theres 7 judges and they are all descendants of the past 7 kings and they vary in form and origin, almost all kings perished in war for exception of Leviathan, Beelzebub and Satanas, The king title isnt as used in the present but its still a title of privilege even if Satanas has to pull double duty since Lucifer died.
About 70% of souls that go to Nova Inferno go by own choice, a 10% go by contract and the other 10% go forced by condemnation.
