Good news tho I'm leaving my home tonight and officially leaving JWs :) Officially going pomo tonight

There's gonna be a pride festival later this month in the town I'm moving to so I'm hoping I can make it there and get a kickstart in making friends with people there

So... I really like the idea that Vox and Alastor represent both extremes of the asexuality spectrum. The All or Nothing concept where Vox is all and Alastor is nothing.

Sex to Vox is power just like anything else. He enjoys sex, he uses it to assert his dominance or position, but he doesnt experience sexual attraction. Its all just power play to him.

But Alastor views it as inherently unnecessary. Its vulnerable and a waste of time when theres so many other ways you can assert your power.

“Will you shut up and let me take a look at it?” Lucy demands as she finds herself ripping open the torn and bloody shirt that was clinging to Tim’s side. “Doesn’t look too deep.”

“I tried to tell—fuck,” Tim sucks in a breath through his teeth as Lucy presses gauze to the wound firmly.

Lucy gives him a pointed look, worry and disappointment on her face. “You know better than to go kicking doors down without an assist.”

“You were behind the door,” Tim replies softly with a shrug, his blue eyes locking with her brown ones.

Lucy is quiet for a moment but when she looks back up at him, her eyes are soft. “You gotta stop playing the hero.”

“I’ll stop rescuing you, when you stop needing rescued.”

I didn’t watch it so I don’t know what the conclusion was but saw a video talking about “is it worth it to create oc art anymore ?” And the thumbnail showed fandom art being more popular

Art of all kinds is always going to worth it, if your posting art just for the sake of posting that kinda defeats the purpose of creating art, yeah it’s always gonna be harder to get more traction on your ocs than your fanart but it’s still worth creating

if the title was “is it worth it to post oc art” I think it’s also important to share ocs and original work too

don’t let traction be the reason you deem something worth it
