You guys should watch Miss Granny
It's a definite tearjerker. Eto yung movie na by the end i was fighting with myself not to ugly cry. Alam mo yung iyak na kelangan mong pigilan kaso lang ang sakit na sa dibdib at lalmunan pero one you'd rather than humikbi ka na parang bata sa gitna ng sinehan? Ganun. Ang sakit nya sa feelings. Hanggang sa drive pauwi my sister and i were on the verge of tears kasi may mga scenes na you simply have to relive - one of note was the single scene between Nonong Buencamino and Sarah Geronimo. Parang Takte, ano bang ginawa namin sa inyo at ginaganiti nyo kami? Like i told my sister, hindi cya yung emotional na matagal ang build-up. It was a right-there kind of pain. The delivery though was something of a good surprise. Isang malaking buhos lang. Pero jusko ang intense. May isang scene doon na tuloy-tuloy lang tumutulo ang luha ko. Mababaw na din naman ang emotions ko, so kasama na cya sa factor. But this is the closest i've come to bawling.
Sarah Geronimo is a constant surprise. Tama nga na walang iba who could have done the role better than her. Her usual endearing antics had been spot on for her role in this movie. Let's not forget how good her voice is. Big part of the movie was driven in effect by the songs and to have that quality and emotive vocals certainly brought forth its delivery.
The content was a sure hit from the beginning. But to have catered the story to see how the dynamics applied to a Filipino family was a job well done.
