Kai Spinjitzu in Blender!

Messed around and made Kai's spinjitzu in blender! Tried matching it as close to the dragon’s rising style as I could 🙂‍↕️

First time making any kind of material in blender and it was a PAIN but I got there in the end :D Don't look at my shader editor tho you'll die from the mess

Just have to recolor this for the other ninja and can start using these for some fun animations too,, With a couple tweaks to the very basic rig I have for the tornado

Dog Whistle Chapter 4 - Unstable SMP Lawdog AU

Snippet:

“Oh, don’t just lay there. You haven’t even hit my lawman once.” Lettuce tries to goad him for some god forsaken reason. “Go on. Attack.” 

What? Did Lettuce think that would actually make him-

He can’t breathe. No. More like his lungs clench in on themselves as every nerve in his body stills. Pain muffling, like the connection between his mind and body was just- gone. As a clouded edge fills his thoughts. Fills every little crevice of his head. 

And an utter rush surges through him. Starting in the way his heart rate picks up in speed. Pulse quickening to match in an instant. An airy, light, giddiness that grabs him in a chokehold. Squeezing out whatever fear and uncertainty that’d tried to fill his mind with panic. And leaving him breathing so heavily. Air hot as it leaves his mouth. And digging his forehead further into the boards of the floor. Shoulders hunching up as his body is so taken aback by the utter- the utter need to attack.

Dog Whistle - Unstable SMP Lawdog AU

Summary:

There’s a specific frequency only animals can hear. So high pitched and sharp it’d make them writhe in pain. Dogs especially are sensitive to the noise. Whining aloud and desperately trying to cover their ears to make it stop. Crudelly mimicked by dog whistles to keep them in check.

But there’s an interesting thing most don’t know. Even if you can’t hear it, people are also affected by it. Maybe at best a phantom headache if it’s not too strong. Or at worse, death from internal organs rupturing from the vibrations.

And there’s a special tune in between. When done just right. Activates the neurons just so. Enough to make your brain act on impulse. Heightened by the pain it can’t understand and whiting out reason. Delegating function to subconscious actions rather than conscious ones. Making it more susceptible. More pliable.

Lettuce finds that frequency. And makes his very own dog whistle. Meant for just one person.

Snippet:

“It’s simple really. You get to regain your strength. Live for that thrill I know you love.” Lettuce pauses then. Clearly seeing the way Wemmbu raises a brow. Skeptical of the offer. “Of course you’d do so under Law command.”

And he loses all interest from the demon. Those black eyes rolling at the suggestion and barking out a laugh at the absurdity. Loudly rattling on about how ridiculous of an idea that was. “How stupid do you think I am bro?” And going on and on in denying how he’d ever work with him.

It’s a bit funny really. How adamantly opposed he was. And Lettuce only waits for him to finish. The smile not leaving his face.

Once the demon finally tapers off, Lettuce hums. Blowing at the whistle again without much thought. “Just think about it, hm? Won’t hurt your little brain to take more than two seconds to refuse my offer.”

Snuffed Out - Chapter 16: Care Enough to Try

Snippet:

“You know, I’m actually supposed to be the master of water.” A humorless laugh leaves her. Her hand comes out to stick itself in the middle of the waterfall. Feeling the weight of the water as it cascades down onto her bare skin. Each second there's a heavy thump with the endless stream of cold crashing down.

An aborted ‘what’ is what she hears before it’s quickly covered up by a cough. Then the footsteps get closer and she can see the edges of blue in the corner of her vision. Jay’s mess of brown hair coming in next as he sits down beside her. 

“So you’re even cooler than I thought.”

Work Summary:

The ninja all grieved Zane after his sacrifice.

Kai’s methods weren’t healthy. Fighting away night after night in the pit. Because it should have been him. The thought stayed with him. Consumed him.

He’d wanted it to stop. And it did. His grief left him. But so did everything else.

When the ninja do finally begin to reach out to one another, Kai is gone. And when they seek to find Zane, their brother they thought dead on the island, they find yet another brother they hadn’t known was so far gone.

TLDR: Kai has amnesia during the tournament of elements and ends up working for Chen :)

Dog Whistle - Lawdog AU - Ch 4 Wemmbu Art

TW: Blood

The sight is enough to make Wemmbu laugh aloud again. Snickering as he shoots up from the ground and lunges. Ramming into the netherite armor and sending the player further back. Grip loosening on the sword just enough for purple hands to clasp it and snatch it free. He skitters back, holding the sword and raising it to be level with the player. Gazing down the sharpened metal at the lone eye the lawman has open.

There’s blood obscuring so much of the black blade and making his own reflection look like a fractoral mess. With how only his smile is visible in the gaps. A sharp thing full of teeth and surrounded by even more of the dripping mess of red.

“Where’d all the confidence go bro?” Wemmbu’s voice is so much smoother now as he talks aloud. Seeming like it held a playful lilt, despite the sharp edge it had. “Little blood too much for you?”
