📆 42 Years Ago Today: November 20, 1983 - Guia Circuit in Macau: Hans-Joachim Stuck and Dieter Quester secured a 1-2 finish for the Schnitzer Marlboro BMW team in the 1983 Guia Race. Stuck took pole position and led from start to finish in the #1 BMW 635CSi, with Quester following closely in #2. After 25 laps, just 0.29 seconds separated the two factory cars at the flag with Quester having set the fastest lap of the race. A controlled, dominant performance that remains one of the tightest BMW 1-2 results in Macau’s history. 🏁 🏆
