BIOGRAPHY:

Jason Todd was the child of Willis Todd and Sheila Haywood, being raised in Gotham City his whole life. His mother was forced to relinquish custody on Jason when Willis married Catherine Todd. His mother was a drug addict that died of an overdose, and his father spent most of Jason’s life working for a mafia man. Leaving Jason mostly in the care of his stepmother, who raised him the best she could until his father and stepmother died at the hands of the very employer that his father worked for. Now homeless, Jason made most of his living off of petty theft and ripping off car parts for cash. 

One night, Jason came across a fancy vehicle parked in an alley, this was an opportunity that no one in his position could pass up. However, he only managed to steal two of the tires when the owner of the car, a well-known wealthy businessman. Instead of the man being angry, he offered to help him. He told Jason that he had previously been in touch with a school that recruited his son Dick. The man adopted and cared for Jason and gave him a stable living environment until he got in touch with the school, and sent Jason on his way to Novus Academy.

BIOGRAPHY:

Hal Jordan was born in Coast City to Jessica and Martin Jordan as the middle child. As a boy, he idolized his father, a test pilot who worked for Ferris Aircraft. At age seven, his father died in a plane crash right before his eyes. Despite his family’s wishes, he still idolized his father and continued following in his father’s footsteps. On his 18th birthday, he showed up at the Armed Forces Career Center before it had even opened. 

Two years later, a dying alien and a member of the “Green Lantern Corps” crash landed his starship in the Californian Desert. Hal was the first one on site. Having selected a replacement officer for his position, the ring chose Hal Jordan for his ability to overcome great fear. The ring and it’s abilities were explained to him and he inherited the mantle of Green Lantern. Acting as a galactic police officer, it was his job to serve and protect all life in Sector 2814. He learned there were other Green Lanterns all across the universe, all monitored and empowered by mystical creatures called the Guardians. Hal received training from some of the best the Corps had to offer. 

As Green Lantern, Hal Jordan patrolled the galaxy and took missions in space, however, he continued to spend his time at home on earth, working at Ferris Aircraft. One day, he was met by some men from a government agency called A.R.G.U.S. who asked him about the alien spacecraft that had crashed in front of him and the ring he acquired. Eventually they explained who they were and asked him to accompany them to Florida to attend a school that would give him everything he needed to become the best Green Lantern he could become. He agreed and headed to Florida.

BIOGRAPHY:

Born in California, Betty Ross is the only child of General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross and Karen Lee. Thunderbolt Ross had always hoped for a son to follow in his footsteps, and his adversity at having a daughter was reflected in the way that he raised her and since Betty’s mother had died from unknown causes when she was 14, her youth was spent under her father’s strict army hand. He quickly decided that an army base was no environment for a girl, so he sent her away to boarding school.

After graduation, she returned to her father’s side on the base. By then Thunderbolt Ross was in charge of a top-secret project to create a new type of weapon involving gamma radiation. The agents of Novus was already at the site of the project observing another possible student and saw possibility in Ross and asked her to join their ranks.
