Whenever I see a wickerbeast I just remember how I was in a group chat with their creator when I was a minor and they kept showing me sexual content. I wish more people knew what kind of person they were because if I speak up no one will believe me.

what is the texture of the dinosaur eggs I've always wanted to try dinosaur oatmeal but if the eggs are soggy I'll die

the shell part of the egg melts in the hot milk/water and the baby dinosaur is crunchy! it's a good crunch.

dachsbun is really good! on the other hand, houndstone is a bit of a letdown because it didn't quite live up (no pun intended) to the beauty that is greavard. i adore skeleton designs and...eh, just not feeling it

my bf LOVES mastiffs so he was also a bit disappointed by the dark dogs lol. kind of a bummer. houndour and doom are still the better dark dogs i think.

overall just very strange designs all around, man. i'm surprised that so many people like a certain new pink pokemon...eugh, more power to them i guess, who am i to judge that when i actually don't mind impidimp lmao

I feel like artists already tend to undercharge! Don't worry about your prices

yeah that's for sure. i notice that so much and i just want to tell them to RAISE YOUR PRICES!! but ignore how much i charge ok. do as i say not as i do 😔 i just always question like everything when it comes to my art

is my style good? are my prices reasonable? am i actually improving?

i suppose i'll leave the prices but. . i always ask if my art is worth that much lol

Have you ever told us about your boy? Sorry curious cause the arts hella good

i actually haven’t shared a whole lot about him here, at least not compared to benjamin (who i still love, just don’t draw as much. just like honst)

so his conception came about when i hatched this dragon on flight rising a couple years ago

i really liked the colors and the ghost gene had come out a few months prior, it suited him perfectly imo. i decided to draw a character based on these colors and the ghost gene and this was what i came up with

pretty rough, but overall i really liked the design. i’ve always been into skeletal markings and i thought he wore them well enough

i thought of him as a half dragon half imp sorta thing where he was born with spikes in place of where his wings should be (ehh approximately.) over time i ironed out his design and anatomy; i made him more human-like in terms of musculature, legs that weren’t so strange, etc. granted i’m still not great at anatomy. also, he has four fingers now so this drawing below is a little off

he became my fursona i guess, i just love him a lot. he’s the combination of a lot of my favorite OC traits- fluffy parts, spikes, multiple eyes, big claws and teeth, and bones :> here are some quick things about him-

- his fire is bright red (think lithium or strontium) and extremely hot. i almost made his elemental thing red lightning but i plan on making another character with that

- his fire is generated either through breath or his palms; he is constantly very warm. this is opposite of myself where if it’s over 73°F i will die

- he loves peppers, they’re his favorite food. again complete opposite of myself lol. just wanted to have fun with the ‘hot’ aspect

- his bone tail is actually made up of thick scales that cover a thinner pinkish tail. good for tail whips

- he’s 7′4″, i may increase his height at some point

- his name is based on this blog’s old URL, rottclaw. i’m not creative

he’s a constant work in progress. i find i like drawing his face a lot, it gives me practice with drawing longer muzzles that face forward, which i’ve always had trouble with...his body still gives me struggles though, but i’ll figure it out!
