She stared at the high walls of the Du Couteau mansion, pondering if she should leap over or simply knock. Finally deciding a surprise would be more amusing, Elise hooked her long spider legs over the top, easily vaulting herself over and into the gardens. An unfortunate servant yelped in surprise as she touched down onto the grass, but Elise simply smirked and held a finger to her lips. “Don’t worry. I’m only here for a little fun,” she murmured softly.
A quick spell rooted the servant in place, webbing wrapping around their mouth to keep them quiet. Cassiopeia lived well within the grounds, and it took Elise a few minutes to walk to the small house where she resided. Snapping her fingers, the Spider Queen opened the windows just a tad before morphing into an arachnid and crawling within. The lamia was curled up on what looked to be an oversized couch, and Elise returned into her human form before leaning down just behind the snake.
“Boo.”
