I’m devastated by the turnout, so upset by the voice of the masses, so heartbroken by the people who didn’t know when they were being rightly served. I’m so upset at the blind eye people resorted to. Those who closed their eyes to the accomplishments, the groundwork and foundation laid anew. Gave the 2016 presidency to someone who will make a joke of this country, one who’d willingly sell us short. In more painful words, sa taong bababuyin lang ang Pilipinas.
It upsets me so much. To be back in this mess when we’ve already been jumpstarted. It upsets me so much, I feel so sorry for PNoy because the people didn’t know what they had when they had it. I cannot fault people for hoping to bring in drastic change. I cannot blame their ideals. I cannot, I should not. But oh I fault them so. I blame them so much every single day for bringing this hell upon us. I blame their choices, for believing someone’s OBVIOUSLY aureate speech and fake bravado. I blame them for bringing in someone unworthy. It’s like picking up trash and kicking out a perfectly good albeit faulty machine. Tambay ba yan sa kanto o ano? I already pitied us for having to choose among lesser evils but I hate them all for choosing the more evil. I hate it. I hate them.
Today we cry, but when the tears dry, we hope anew. I pray for you. Thank you. So much. Really.
