THE WAY HE TOUCHES HIS HAIR- IM SCREAMING OH MY FUCKING GOD-
Nerdy Prudes Must Die was my introduction to Starkid and learning about it's existence felt like a revelation.
I love horror but unafortunately i'm a fucking coward, so i can only stand it in some specific ways. I also love musicals, and i never thought you could mix those two things.
That until i saw npmd being pitched as "a horror musical about (...)" and then described as a slasher. I was quite literally mindblown. It was a "wait, that's possible?" kind of feeling.
Something funny tho is that on my first watch i was like "ok this is cool so far and the songs are good but i'm 50 minutes in and no one's died yet I WANT BLOOD, DAMNIT" (yes Blinky's my fav lord in black, why?) i was pretty much pointing at Max all like "JUST DIE ALREADY, THE PLOT NEEDS IT". That's the memory that crossed my head while thinking about this.
I think with every show set in the Lands that Are the budget and puppetry skills are gonna mean that the Fairy Queen of Sweet Dreams gets more arms and eyes and wings until she looks like a biblically accurate angel
