hi! this isn’t a request but i was winding how you get the gradient font! like the stuff you use right under the post, when you say what the post is about. sorry if that doesn’t make sense 😂 i’d you could help that would be appreciated thanks!

No worries, I got what you’re talking about: the caption of the post. 😁

So, I actually found out how to create gradient texts on the posts through this Tumblr tutorial.

The only difference between what the linked tutorial says and what I do is how I get the colors. The tutorial says to select the colors from the palette that comes with the window when you click on one of the color boxes.

Instead of doing that, I select the color picker feature. Then, I head onto this site, where it has all the official colors of professional and collegiate sports teams. With that, I can pick the official colors of the sports team featured in the post.

Keep in mind: The first color (the one that appears to the left) will have to be darker than the second color (the one that appears to the right). The reason being, in English, we read from left to right. So, it looks awkward with the beginning of a sentence being lighter in color than the end of the second, where we finish reading. Trust me, I learned that through trial and error.
