Loved this story. 😀 #Repost @humansofpakistan (@get_repost) ・・・ I loved someone but could not get married to her due to my economic status. I am a woodcutter and work as a daily wage labourer. However, the person I got married to ultimately became the love of my life. We had six children out which two died due to poor health. After the death of my second child, I quit woodcutting and started looking for other work. Seeing the frustration, my wife asked me to sell her earrings to get some money to start a business. It was not enough but was something to start with. I started a confectionary shop within my house from the money and it kept our stove burning from that point. However, I felt bad almost every day that wife had to sell her jewellery for us. After a few weeks, a group of people came to our house who told us that they would give my wife an interest free loan if she starts or contributes to a business. After consulting a few people, we agreed and got the loan to invest more in our shop. The business increased and I have saved enough money to get back my wife those earrings that made our life better. #EmpoweredWomenEmpoweredPakistan ————— —- @SUCCESSinSindh is funded by the European Union in Pakistan and aspires to work exclusively with rural women in 8 districts of Sindh to reduce poverty.
