Reverse Derby
*NSO elbows skater in the head* NSO: Sorry Skater, I just elbowed you in the back of the head Skater: Does this mean you get expelled now? Is it like reverse derby?
Simple derby truths
1. Arguing with a ref makes you a douche. 2. Shit talking officials makes you a douche. 3. Shit talking officials when one is sitting behind you makes you a particularly stupid douche.
Officiating is difficult, folks. Conduct yourselves like decent human beings when you skate. The ref you’re booing, the NSO you snark at, the people who push the pencils that allow you to quantify your game with a tallied score: they are people. People who do this shit when they’re tired and sad and struggling and insecure about their officiating performance because of douches like the aforementioned.
Don’t be a dick. Be a dude. Thank you.
