"AFRICAN QUEEN" - Eleven base wires were woven together in pairs, with the others being used as bare accent wires and the centre wire which holds the beads. They were then sculpted and formed around the beads for this gorgeous effect. - The beads are natural African bloodstone and are 10mm wide. The ornate clasp was handmade by me. - As always, the whole piece has been treated with Liver of Sulphur, then buffed and polished to bring out the amazing texture in the weave. - I must admit ...this is NOT an original design; I did it from a tutorial, but it's a beautiful look and one I can now incorporate into other designs, too!
