[3 / 365] When I saw this stone it immediately reminded me of those big cathedral amethyst statement pieces you see at gem shows. Except this one wasn’t as big or unattainable so I knew I just had to get it and come up with something to compliment this beauty. I came up with a “simple” prong setting and I say simple because the only thing simple about is how it looks. Attempt at weaving

Attempting a better weaving with wire. It's very therapeutic, and I did it while listening to a lecture.

This also was just another way of doing the cactus/tree trunk.

More Pendantssss ⚜️

When we were growing up in Syria, there was a resurgence in Rococo inspired art in architecture, people loved putting soft pastel rose furniture, walls and hallways and curved feet for sofas. One of the things I loved was the design and look of the fluer de lis which is this symbol⚜️ it’s also a well known French symbol but I’m not going to discuss my issues with that XD XD it does have a pretty symmetrical design which is why I was inspired to make this pendant.

I may have gone through a small obsession with Alexander Dumas’s Count of Monte Cristo XD XD
