So when I was at North Texas Drama Auditions, a man talked to me from one of the colleges that called me back. It turned out, he was Lin Manuel Miranda's teacher when he wrote In The Heights. How neat is that???

Just learned NTDA gives scholarships to top 4 debaters and top 6 in IEs.... I am so much more excited for this weekend!!!

north texas drama auditions.

ahhh. okay so hopefully this goes well.. last night i was freaking out. i don't think my parents understand how much stress i'm under or how important this audition really is. i couldn't stop coughing. i could barely sleep. i'm scared i'll go over time with my monologues. but today is the day & i can't freak out. this has to be okay. gahh.  Ready or not here we. Ready to get "a punch in the face of information"(;

filling out my resume for North Texas Drama auditions makes me feel so inadequate. gahh, is it enough? do i have noticeable leads? do i have noticeable appreciation for tech- being that i've teched for many shows? i have very little awards i can list if any. i've only done highschool productions. i don't sing. i refuse to dance... except for that one time in little women.. ON THE BRIGHT SIDE: i do have a fair amount of leads, as well as tech experience. i can knit (which has actually come in handle for a couple of shows!). i can apply stage make-up including old age, basic corrective, fantasy, & bruises/ abbrasions. oh & did i mention, i get to list that i've "STUDIED ABROAD" mwahahaha :D but seriously, is it enough..?
