I really appreciate how the last 2 panels of the entire issue are dedicated to Donna's grief specifically. In a worse universe the comic could have easily centered Dick's fears and devastation above everyone and everything else since he is obviously Kori's love interest. But NTT doesn't do that! And the comic is better for it!!!

Donna is the one who probably interacts with Kori the most on a daily basis. They live together! They sometimes work together!! It makes so much sense for her to be the focus in that moment and the fact that the writers did not just disregard or ignore that for the sake of the romance makes my aro heart very happy :)

inch resting how it is one of the superheroes (with powers!) that has been in the business for the longest that seems the most disturbed by a death like that? and the (not powered or enhanced) hero who has been in the business for at least equally as long and is arguably the most strict when it comes to the no killing rule is the one to calmly comfort him abt it? idk
