Okay, I just got back from the theatre. I saw Top gun maverick.

I'm so damn emotional (also because of the fact I couldn't go when it first aired years ago)

It was weeks that I felt... I don't know, kinda empty?! And I knew that watching top gun would have been good for me. Didn't realise it could be this good.

I obviously can't stop thinking about my goat @geminiwritten, love you babe and your fantastic stories about these incredible men. But also, @callsign-madusa !

Every then and again I rethink about her masterpiece and after tonight I am surely gonna think about it again, a lot. Don't know what you're up to now girl, hope you're doing great!!

Anyway.

Top gun : maverick.

Ugh!!!

It has such a specific aesthetic that you cannot mistake any other film with it, and the fucking camera movements for the action scenes... Chef's kiss! Every time I rewatch it, it's better than the last.

Oh and the cast, my man Miles Tiller, love you since Footloose and Divergent! I missed you on my screens honey!

Okay so what if I was obsessing over Suits and wanted to write for it?

I am only on season one, started like a couple days ago and I'm used to find fanfic of character I obsess over. Mike Ross? Almost none.

So obviously my brain started projecting and I kinda have an idea, but like... Ugh I don't know the fandom, I don't know the series well enough yet and I fear I might be thinking of a bigger thing than I can actually do?!

I don't know.

Would someone even read a Mike Ross x reader (possibly oc) in 2025?!

You know how Bob was so excited after they hit the target and completed the miracle number one during the mission?!

My baby was STRESSED after that last exercise, I think he felt so proud of himself.

Obviously he already did outstanding in different missions at that point in his career, but nothing was like this -they repeat it many times in the movie-

And I honestly think that for a backseat when things go well is so much more than the pilot -don't get me wrong, Phoenix is a force for piloting that thing and get her AND Bob safe everytime- because they need to calculate and check all the little things and ...

Okay so I'm kinda new to hockey, my interest sparked when I first saw The Mighty Ducks movies years ago but I actually started following it just last November (i needed something to watch when F1 would end)

All this to say... Can someone please explain to me how the games are decided? What's all this big thing around the schedule reveal?

Don't get me wrong, I'm loving all this content these days. As a Communication Major I'm kinda living my best life right now for this.

Okay I need some help to find a fic : it was a Rooster/Hangman fake dating fic.

Definitely multiple chapters.

I think it was Cyclone that asked them to fake date, for the organisation or something like that. I remember a chapter with a ball, where they were almost fully conscious of their real feelings.

I can't remember the author or the title, literally anything and I can't find it (cause I'm not so great with tags yet)

At the end of episode 6 of "Criminal minds: suspect behaviour" Coop says : "every unhappy family is unhappy in their own way. But us, we're like five fingers of the same hand. We anchor eachother."

And I immediately thought of the hand metaphor of Verga in "I Malavoglia" (The house of the medlar tree). It was probably even intended that way but I'm Italian, I have deep memories of this from school.

I didn't finish the show yet so I'm kinda scared after this metaphor. Even so, only after six episodes it is so evident how everyone relies on Coop and there's also the link of the concept of seniority that in the Malavoglia is very focal -and also in the show too-

Also the episode is called "Devotion" and is about a father neglecting his children and building another family; family relationship is the key in the novel and the Unsub could be compared to Ntoni after he comes back from prison and his house is different, everybody is different and he just goes away then. The Unsub represents the ones who stayed in the village and had to survive alone, but also Ntoni when he finally understands that his sister is dead and the FBI needs to take him away.

I'm gonna rethink this when I finish the show.
