So many whys
I must say we were incredibly lucky.
Before the empty spaces were filled, before the roads were build, we had taken a chance and began roaming woods and plains of our world. How endless it seemed to be! We didn't call ourselves girars back then. Naghill and the Sixth invented the first words of our language by the time we had spawned twice; what I am wrapping my mind around is Circle Zero.
All we had to do was to get into master Zabjh's wagon and turn our backs on the life we used to have. Madness it was, for the citizens of Yüv.
Why almost no one tried to leave, you may ask. it's rather simple. Few wanted to. They did. They left, no one stopped them. There were no boundaries, no guards, no padlocks on the city gates. The city of Yüv was as safe as can be, it didn't need to keep anything in or out.
Why leave? That's what they say and that's how they'd been living for countless years.
The only border was inside our minds.
