It made sense to her to offer her home to him during his search for her fairy godmother, especially since most of the books she had found on fairies and fairy godmothers were in her home. She would give him whatever it took.
“I have the rest of those volumes.” She announced, not even thinking to knock when entering the guest chambers she had set him up in. “I also told the staff to just bring dinner in- Oh my heavens!” The three books in her hands were soon pressed to her face. “I am so sorry! I should have knocked. Forgive me!” She stepped backwards in the attempt to leave only to bump into the arm of a chair, the heavy books thumped to the floor. She hadn’t meant to walk in on him while changing, she was just motivated to show him all she knew. Though now, without the books to cover her eyes she couldn’t seem to tear her gaze away from him.
