I love brains so much i actually wanna cry

Neuroscience it the best science ever and you cannot tell me otherwise wise

It affects the larger world so largley!!

Who that was a shit comparison but whatever

It involves math, pyschics, systems, CODING SOMEHOW??, computer science, behavioral science, psychology, calculus, theoretical math (my love), philosophy, AND SO MUCH MORE. Its a true interdisciplinary science in my eyes and gives you so many options for how you wanna study it. Brains sit in our skulls and we refer to ourselves as something other than what we are which is just a jumble of nuerons stuffed in a fleshy stress ball that is one of the most fragile parts of human anatomy. So much so gou cant even hold a organic brain, no chemicals or preservatives, for more than 5 minutes with out your hand being imprinted into that brain FOREVER.

I will become a neuroscientist and there isnt anything you can do to stop me

Does Your Fear Guide You in Your Discovery of Identity?

I find the neurobiological response to fear so incredibly intriguing, especially seeing what things affect individuals versus others. There's such a wide variety to choose from- just search up any old list of phobias on the internet and you'll clearly see that. 

It’s fundamental, a deeply wired reaction in our bodies, evolved over the history of life as we know it in order to protect organisms against perceived threat to their integrity of existence.

The amygdala and hippocampus are mostly responsible– the hippocampus processing the perceived threat, and the amygdala givinging that adrenaline rush that we all crave so desperately. This high arousal state can be both from fear or excitement. I don't think it's that much of a leap to suggest that fear and excitement are both connected and therefore can both derive satisfaction. 

More importantly, fear can actually help aid your memory. This is of course only to a certain extent, as prolonged distress of high quantities can actually lead to memory loss in self protection, but I would like to theorize for a moment that the reason that so many of those that have contacted me so far, have had memories after viewing the more high tension scenes from their source material is because of the stress neurotransmitter norepinephrine, promoting the formation of fear based memories by stimulating inhibitory neurons in the amygdala while we are so engrossed in the content. 

The fear feels familiar because it is. It's been living dormant inside you all along. That being said, I would like to inquire about the most distressing moment for you when viewing your own source material? How did it relate to your identity, and did it lead to memories related to said scene afterwards?

The fascinating complexities of the human mind are so perplexing to attempt to comprehend. I wish I could instantly understand the why and how of all my emotions and endless streams of jumbled thoughts, but that goal is forever out of reach

And I feel incredibly called out right now

When peeps argue about free will

Look idk if it's scientifically proven and it's funny that people take to extremes.

Consider the possibilty of a limited will. We are free to chose some things and others we are bound to do or not do. In a scientific sense because we are genetically predisposed to certain behaviors, and in a religious sense in that we all err and do terrible things we know are wrong and hurtful--and that we can be aware of these errors and seek to be better.

We can't choose to be perfect, to know everything, or have certain personality traits with no prior explanation.

In a religious sense this explains the wonder of grace, that can change a person without an action initiated by a person (though a person can be liberated to make good choices after this grace or awareness of something greater is in effect)

In a scientific sense, this how people are controlled by circumstances internal and external, and if they can't be emotionally aware, end up falling prey to their nature rather than doing the things they want to do.

Moral of the story: the conscience is there in your head for a reason, whether you're religious or not.
