Wednesday's child is full of woe / 5.5.2023

I had a lovely "going out". Dressing up and trying the local bar (and then walking out because people smoked inside 🤢) and then going to the place next door which was fancier but shared the menu, no smoke and very small amount of people... I had a nice time. I really struggle with going out by myself, so this is a success!
Plus, the nights are cool here in the desert, even a bit chilly, so I guess actually moving here will actually help me wear more long sleeved outfits!
This was my first time going out on my own like that, and it was really fun. I am glad I didn't stay at the smoky place, and opted out to the almost empty place (the staff were actually the ones who ate most of the time. Good for them!), that was well lit and looked kinda fancy. Even the bathroom was fancy, so I took some mirror selfies. It is easy to feel lonely when you are alone in a crowd. But if there are not a lot of people around, it is solitude.
Lolita can give a small boost of confidence, but a little goes a long way!
