Remember those Reala x Amigo and NiGHTS x Ulala fan kids I made a while back? This is them now, feel old yet?
Nuria (strawberry goblin monkey on da left) becomes a successful idol sensation just like her dad, Amigo, also utilizing maracas in among other instruments and dances in her shows. While known for her electric energy on the stage and her friendly and bubbly nature everywhere else, don’t be fooled into thinking she’s abandoned her naturally chaotic nature, it is still very much there, albeit more controlled. Her manager is her aunt, Amiga, a now retired pop-star who has made it her goal to steer her niece to global stardom, even if that niece is content with just local attention.
Endri (bubblegum ballerino mf on da right) goes on to work at Channel 5 as a live broadcaster, similar to his mother, Ulala, making sure to give his viewers the best view of the latest scoop. He of course retained his wit, sass, and attitude, which he uses as needed when gracefully handling cosmic-level threats on the job, but even through all that sass is someone who loves his family with everything that he is. Not only does he pride himself in his reporter job, but puts great effort into being a dance instructor on the side, providing only the best space ballet lessons to anyone worthy of the attention.

Can you review Nuria’s design? I’ve always loved her flaming wings and thought it’s a shame they’ve never really used her for anything
I've always had a soft spot for Nuria's design for two reasons. First, she was one of our first faeries with darker skin (Mira being the first, though Nuria is still notable due having a noticeably darker complexion). This makes sense, seeing as she's from the Lost Desert, and the brown of her skin works beautifully with the orange and reds of her fire, giving her a very warm palette.
And secondly, I like her fire wings a lot. Regular fire faeries (above) just have wings that are vaguely flame-ish (also oddly yellow, at least in the most recent art), so having the wings be straight-up made of flame is way cooler.
However, with that said, I do think her outfit is questionable at best due to wearing a head covering/hijab (which is nice to see, as that's not a common feature on Neopets NPCs like, at all) yet still having exposed shoulders. IRL religion doesn't exist on Neopets, so she's not inherently required to be fully covered—but the outfit falls apart under scrutiny regardless.
Like, if she's not covering her head/hair for religious reasons, then she'd be covering herself to protect herself from the sun, right? Except then her shoulders and legs are exposed, which defeats that purpose. And maybe she doesn't need to worry about the sun because she's a fire faerie—but then why is her head covered?
Personally, I think they should update her design to, at the very least, give her a shawl to cover her arms or just give the dress short sleeves, and make the split along the side much lower down the legs. Though honestly, I'd go as far as to say just give her proper full-body coverings, because why not? Even if IRL religion isn't technically a thing on Neopets, some rare Muslim-adjacent representation would always be welcome. Here's an example of fanart that make it work:

So overall, Nuria's design is solid from a visual standpoint and stands out from a character standpoint. Just give her a better outfit and we'll be all set.
