I GRADUATED- DNP c/o 2018!!
I know I have been MIA for a while now. It was taking a break to finish my Doctorate of Nursing Practice with a specialization in Adult Geriatric Primary Care. I graduated!!! This special tumblr has been with me from the beginning- before I applied to grad school. This community that has followed this blog has been such a blessing. I am forever grateful to each and every one of you guys for the support and love. Onward to studying for boards and hopefully more posts! <3

When your weeks get blurred together because TGIF doesnât exist
HOLA 2018!
I have been very dedicated(?) to my profession around the past 2 years that I failed keeping this blog alive as it was extremely intense and nerve-racking! Didto nako na-prove nga dili lalim ning trabahoa oy. Grabe! Mind, body, soul pati everything in between ana nila ang ma-apektohan. But no regrets. I still feel very fulfilled.
I decided to enter SUMC last June 2016 with a brave heart and began my reliever status by October of that same year. That period was seriously âgrabeâ that various emotions flooded. Seriously! Naka try nako nga ni duty nga âzero sleepâ as in no sleep jud! I felt like a zombie nga nagsakay ug magic carpet. As in! And I do not want to experience that ever again!
But God is really loving that he gave me another blessing. Na regular nako bai! Haha! It became official last January 1, 2018. Grabe no? Paspas raman diay ang panahon. Nag start akong probationary period atong July 2017 nga nag sige kog complain na dugay pa kaayo ang 6 months, but hey, 2018 na, and look, na absorb nako. I just feel so blessed that the Lord helped me in my baby steps.Â
Last month, na receive na nako akong rice and grocery allowances na ako rang gi dream masulayan ug dawat. Yey! Aside ana, I gained new friends and experienced life-changing nursing duties. But naka experience pod kog unfortunate times. Like na admit ko atong March 2016 kay ga balik-balik akong ubo. Mygosh! Makaulaw tong uboha! And kanang mga sick leave nga very needed para ma rest pod nako akong lawas. Todo kayod tas atong trabaho nga malimtan na nato usahay amping atong own health. Even karon, ga sick leave man kog 3 days kay nihubag akong tonsils. Boo! Ikr. Makaulaw kaayo pero tawo raman pod ang nurse, madutlan japon ug sakit. Duh? Lol.
I do not know whatâs in store for me, but I am surely excited. I cannot wait for Godâs wonderful blessings for me and my family this year. Hinay-hinay rata ani mga besh, baby steps ragud.Â
