Okay then I can admit that when I said I replay the same part like three times in a row, I really meant 6-7 times. It's like I hit the replay button and my brain doesn't get the message to FUCKING PAY ATTENTION this time! I go back to whatever distracted me the first half dozen times I missed it.

i have no willpower when it comes to these things. If my computer/phone is available I will definitely be using it while watching something. It’s gotten to the point where I only fully pay attention to something when I’m watching it in a movie theater.... I don’t know if the attention thing just has to do with the sheer volume of things I’m able to access all at once (which, when i was a kid, it like wasn’t even an option, you either watched what was on tv, or went in your room and read a book, or listened to the same ten songs on the radio over and over and over again) or if it has something to do with aging... i just don’t know.

Omg same! Do you find yourself replaying the same part over again because you realized you totally didn't pay attention for a few minutes? And then...not pay attention the second time either and have to replay it a third time??? (Maybe that's just me LOL)

um. i watched the same ENTIRE episode of Bates Motel like three times before I actually stopped and freaking watched it... My attention span lately is really pathetic and I don’t know what to do about it.

So you watched the movie? Good flick! Did you ever see the TV show? It just was so different and weirdly funny, so naturally it was cancelled after the first season.

I did watch the TV show when it was airing (boy that feels like a million years ago)... I have some vague memory of it being cancelled mid-season?? and i was disappointed, but honestly I’m not really sure how they could have stretched that premise out very long in an amusing way

But in this case, the showrunners WERE deceitful. It’s not an unfair claim. They’ve known he was leaving since the fall and just kept stringing fans along.

I know you’ve been saying it all along, and you were right, but I still don’t think they knew from the fall. I don’t think they started the season knowing what was going to happen, it was a decision dictated by Messina’s other commitments. Also, if I remember correctly they only said Messina was going to have pretty much the same amount of screen time as he had the first part of the season, and we still have 4 more episodes to watch.

If anything, I am more mad at Messina, who kept saying he is super committed to the show in every interview I read... (but I understand this is a way for him to be a part of more projects and I don’t want to be too polemical).

nope! I don’t even think he was in the room tbh... or I just ignored him lol. It was Mindy, Tamra, Morgan, Beverly in the office and Mindy was saying how she was still attracted to (i’m assuming) Casey’s hot body and face (I’m paraphrasing). Then she was like “his business is taking off and maybe I should give him another chance” and then everyone kind of gave their opinions. I’m excited for this ep!

I think the time jump over the summer will actually be a break up. I think he’s going to have to lose her for a bit (again) before he finally gets his shit together (again) and wins her back (again)

It’s very possible Mindy breaks up with Danny, if he doesn’t wanna get married, and she gets engaged with Kunal’s character! This theory does bring a great idea for an angsty story arc for s4a.

I just think it’s a lot story stuff to go over for the first episode and ahhh it’s so sad! So, for now, I think Danny proposed to Mindy in ep 1 (March/summer.)
