I have to create a nursing simulation has a final project, and for our last case scenario the professor made Natasha Romanov and Clint Barton the elderly patients.

So I'm going to give Jason Todd malaria.

Four years ago, I was getting ready to graduate from high school. I knew I was going to college, but that was the only thing I knew for sure. I was majoring in pre-nursing, because after months of prayer that's what I felt led to do. But I didn't really want to.

I spent the entire first year of college telling God that He was wrong, I wasn't supposed to be a nurse, and as soon as things didn't work out for nursing I was going to change my major to something else. That day never came.

Sophomore year rolled around, and I began my actual Nursing classes, instead of just Pre-nursing, and I fell in love. I developed a passion for nursing, for patient care, and for serving. I minored in Christian Studies because I wanted to learn more about God and be able to weave that knowledge into my nursing care, and that passion just continue to grow.

There were ups and downs; days when I felt like I was on top of the world and knew for a fact that I was exactly where I was exactly where I was supposed to be, and there are days that I called home crying to my mother saying that I was so tired and I wanted to quit. God was there through it all, guiding me towards the people that I needed and leading me to develop friendships that I intend to have for the rest of my life.

Today I graduated. I don't know where I'm going to end up, or what exactly I'm going to do, but I have peace. I am where God has called me, and doing what He created me to do.

Clinical Instructor: I know you all are new to maternity, so I don't want you to be afraid to ask questions. This will be the semester that has no dumb questions.

My scumbag brain: Ask her where babies come from. Come on, it'll be hilarious.
