it’s officially nutcracker season ladies and gents
so i present you with THIS wonderful
the Miraculous Tale of the Nutcracker
Marinette’s mom has just recently passed away and her and her father haven’t adjusted or learned to cope. With advice from his father, Tom has decided that Marinette needs to marry, and soon.
He forces her to attend her Godfather Fu’s holiday gala, where she is confronted with her mother’s past in the form of a key given to her by Fu.
String maze game because i LOVED that addition to the Nutcracker (thanks disney) after Fu tells Mari that she’ll only know what the key goes to by following her string.
Marinette obviously ends up in the Pine Forest after following the string.

Tikki is an exceptionally cute Sugar Plum Fairy, with Pollen as the Flower Regent, Duusuu as the Snowflake and Trixx as a Mother Ginger-esque figure.
The realms are in danger from a strange shadow that has been spotted everywhere and is upsetting the magic of the kingdom. Parts of the Snowflake realm is melting, the Flowers are being overgrown by weeds, and even the sweets are rotting.
Marinette learns (from Wayzz the Record keeper) that her key bears the symbol of someone long lost to the kingdom, who might be connected to the shadow.
Adventures and magica shenanigans ensue with a very happy ending for both Mari AND Tikki :)))))))
