it is SO nice to have a budding romantic relationship between adults in this show. I like that neither of them say "I love you" during their first confession like the teenagers oft do. And he doesn't insist on going to Shanghai with her or anything obsessive like that. "We can call" and "you can come visit" 😌 a healthy dynamic that realizes they're both their own people and relationships take time, even when the feelings are mutual. The writers did an excellent job with them.

managed to watch the new episode during my lunch break and I LOVED IT SO MUCH..... huge contender for best episode so far.... I mean not only was the animation gorgeous (all the new camera angles and lighting and even 2D effects!!!) but all the adrinette, the ladynoir moments showcasing their flawless teamwork, Adrien loving being a superhero, AND ALL THE SUBTLE CALLBACKS TO S1 E1..... im so happy rn i loved this episode so much. idk how to describe it but it felt like new and classic ml all wrapped in one perfect package. yay

i am so EXCITED for season 6. so excited to see my blorbos again. they can do no wrong, actually. so excited for whatever chaos the bug girl and cat boy get into. i hope they laugh. i hope they cry. i hope they have messy, complicated, silly little lives and that they keep loving each other through it all

I genuinely think miraculous season 6 is just what MLB needed and that soft resetting the show brought a refreshing vibe to it that inspires investment I haven't felt for the show since season 3

Heck, even if you love antagonists like Gabriel Agreste or Lila, nobody should gaf 🤷🏾‍♂️

She’s not perfect and makes mistakes, but I love how she’s grown!

Emotion (s5) doesn’t really make a lot of sense to me writing-wise. I think Felix’s plan and execution was weird, but… damn it was FUN. It makes so sense, but if I wasn’t vibing with it the whole episode.

Kagami accidentally insulting Lila (“you’re just a stone”)? Vibing.

A bizarre wealthy-person masquerade as a social commentary? Vibing.

Amelie yelling at Gabriel? Vibing.

“Adrien” and Kagami’s banter before their dance? Vibing.

Marinette dancing with “Adrien,” then immediately getting hostile when she learns he’s Felix? Vibing.

Felix having a Disney-villain style musical number in the streets as he Thanos-snaps everyone? Vibing.

Adrien blowing up at Felix? Vibing. (he’s earned that so bad)

Felix having a mental breakdown on a roof? Vibing.

Plot-wise, I have a few issues, but I can honestly say I am so happy to ignore them because I just had a BLAST watching it. Top-tier episode. 10/10. 5 stars.

I know you love Gabenath, so how do you feel about Nathalie and Adrien only having a snugly relationship after Gabriel died? Some of their scenes together look sweet, but it feels like Too Little, Too Late for me.

I don't really see it that way. I think the setting is perfect. We saw Nathalie at times holding back in S1-S2 on Gabriel's decision making over Adrien (to which she tries to guide Gabriel into making the right decisions, like sending Adrien to school, which is something Adrien wanted). Also it always seemed to me that Nathalie didn't wanted to get too attached with Adrien on the very first seasons.

S3-S4 is more about on how Nathalie and Adrien started getting closer as Adrien sees Nathalie is getting sick just like his mother had before her, and him realizing that Nathalie has done a lot of things for him ever since his mother is gone.

Nathalie finally decides to stand up fully for Adrien in S5. Even if Nathalie doubts herself about how important she is in Adrien's life now in S6, (something that is quite normal as she isn't Adrien's biological mother.) I think it makes sense with the setting we got from previous seasons.

I really love the writers are touching upon this topic.

S6 seem like Nathalie is warming more to her new role as Adrien official caretaker and mother as he is an orphan now. She and Adrien becoming even more close its important as Adrien is on the grieving stage. He needs as much of emotional help as he can and Nathalie is the adult who can provide that.

It also makes Gabriel's sacrifice not to be in vain, as he gave his life for Nathalie, so Adrien didn't end up alone.
