It’s been awhile since I’ve actually drawn Clara fully colored and Hardt gets a lot of loving from me but I cannot neglect my gal. I don’t have a lot female characters.. Like.. Three. And I dunno,.. She’s fun

Got a friend out of the house today and we had a great walk~

While walking we almost went broke with the Nutcracker stuff and cool books! But it wasn't for nothing~

Now I have a Rat King (lol, I'm not a fan of the Nutcracker itself, but the Rat King is purely my totem animal, especially after that Barbie cartoon, ahahah)!!! I also got a porcelain angel~ (I started collecting them recently, I don't know why, I just wanted to)

And as for the books, well...... There was ONLY ONE EXAMPLE (I would even say the LAST one!!! ) with Hans Christian Andersen's "The Little Mermaid" with my favorite illustrations, and I'm glad I finally got it (I had only seen some pages online and I was dying to see them all, so I guess it was fate~); then I got a book about all the magic in the world, whatever it is, and stuff that goes with it; and a Harry Potter movie cookbook (all for "bat blood soup" and "creamy beer", oh yes).

Also, a friend and I had an anecdote:

I decided to try an apple in caramel. The caramel was RED, almost the color of BLOOD. I only chewed half of it, and my hands and mouth were all RED and sticky afterwards. And when we finally finished our walk through Tverskaya Square, the dye was still on my hands. So, there we were, walking along, talking:

Me: It's a good thing I'm wearing a mask so people can't see how red my mouth is.

Friend: They won't even know you're a VAMPIRE!!! Me: KHVHVHHHHH-

That was the best walk I've had all holiday, I swear on my liver.

Good day! I'm taking part in the Nutcracker Month challenge this month and I'm trying a different theme using animals this year. I was wondering if your nutcracker, Nicholas, had a type of animal associated with him, or perhaps an animal you would like to see him as? Thanks!

I do, actually! I heavily associate Nicholas with a very specific creature; a huge white elk with frosted branches for antlers. he’s another character in my adaptation; the North Wind!

but tbh I would love to see Nicholas as a white stag! I took a look at some of your stuff; it’s so cute!!! I can’t wait to see what you come up with! :D :D :D

Do you know what Nicholas's personality is going to be like in your adaptation?

I mostly do! he’s going to be kind of shy and uncertain about himself and his abilities, but he’s really very sincere and earnest. he is trying his best to be a good prince! and of course, he tries to take all his misfortunes in stride ;;u;;

I always end up drawing him so soulful and almost melancholy! speaking of which, I need to draw him again...

TLDR: he’s a very good boy!!!!!
