A breath. A moment. A flash of movement. That’s all the warning Seonghwa gets before everything goes to hell. Seonghwa is grateful for his instincts, his quick reactions. They save him now, when he shoves his forearm against the neck of his assailant even as his back slams into the wall next to the door. In the chaos, he feels the cold press of a blade’s edge against his throat, and he presses harder against his attacker’s windpipe in an attempt to create distance. Distantly, he hears voices shouting, and somewhere in the midst of the confusion he hears Wooyoung’s worried tone. He doesn’t get to focus on that for long, though, because when his eyes refocus a moment later, recognition sparks as he finally lays eyes on the face of his opponent. “Hongjoong,” He grits out, a rush of fury burning through his veins. He surges forward, but Hongjoong pushes back even harder, pressing his knife further against Seonghwa’s neck. “Give me one good reason not to fucking kill you right now-” Hongjoong spits back, despite the lack of airflow due to Seonghwa’s arm on his neck.
