These lean turkey patties are a tasty and healthier alternative to regular burgers. The strong flavors of ginger are added to them. They are juicy and flavorful, and they have less fat because they were grilled just right. This is perfect for a healthy BBQ!
Ingredients: 1 lb lean ground turkey. 1/4 cup finely chopped onion. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated. 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper. 1 teaspoon soy sauce. 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard. 1 egg, beaten. Whole wheat burger buns. Lettuce, tomato, and other preferred toppings.
Instructions: Warm up the grill over medium-high heat. Ground turkey, chopped onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and a beaten egg should all be put in a large bowl. Mix everything together well. Cut the turkey mixture into equal parts and form each one into a burger patty. Put the turkey patties on a grill that has already been heated up. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165F 74C. Grill the whole wheat burger buns for one to two minutes, or until they get a little brown. Place the grilled turkey patties on top of the toasted buns to make the burgers. Put on lettuce, tomato, and any other toppings you like. Grilled lean turkey burgers that are better for you should be served with ginger.
