AWA Photoshoot and Meetup

Don't ask me who I heard it from, I can not say names. There may or may not be a Welcome to Night Vale meet at Anime Weekend Atlanta. It will be held under the setting sun and twilight stars. Bring your cosplay  and you best poker faces. Maybe also some food. We will be hungry. When: September 28th 2013, 7:30pm Where: 33.885317, -84.463441 What: Cameras. food?, If you are not already wearing cosplay please show your support by wearing Purple! If you would like to have your pictures made in full day light then begin meeting at 7pm, other wise the photoshoot with be happening at 7:30pm with the meet afterwards. This is currently the only meeting for the Welcome to Night Vale fandom at AWA. There is no information that has been found for any others.

Also there is a facebook event page. It would be much appreciated if you knew you were coming to please RSVP there. That's all.

That's right listeners! This Sunday is our very first Dot Day, and City Council has made a handy little guide for us;

... of how to listen to Welcome to Night Vale: Warm under the covers. Sitting alone in a dim room. Huddling beside another warm body. Waiting on the bus (in the rain). On a subway car surrounded by others you don't know. Trying to hold back snickers of laughter as to not draw attention to yourself. After an argument with someone dear trying to calm yourself down. After realizing you have blanked out and have found yourself in a completely other worldly plain all together.  Tell us how you prefer to listen to your Night Vale. We would Love to know.

We apologize

We have been having strange things happening to us. Please disregard the last post as it was not rebloged or posted by us at all. It seems that someone else from another blog entirely was able to post to our little blog. Unfortunately we are also unable to delete the phantom post. So please just ignore the post ... and maybe it will go away.  

-- As of 2:58 pm Wednesday afternoon, it seems the phantom post has in it self disappeared.  We have no idea where it came from for what it wanted. But the danger it may or may not have posed has now passed. All those who have been in hiding can now come back out into the crisp dry air of the afternoon and be greeted pleasantly by other relieved faces; knowing that they will all live another day. 

As for the ask that was sent in earlier that has mysteriously disappeared: Through the research that has been done there are no current WTNV meetings, cosplay or other wise scheduled for Dragon*Con as of the time that I am writing this post. I have heard whispers on the wind that you had been interested in meetups for curtain fandoms already. If you are interested in bringing the WTNV meet up into fruition, please, feel free to. Let us know here, we would love to signal boost any meet that happens.

Something Strange Is Happening...

There are some questions that should be answered. An overwhelming urge to understand the unknown and to satiate the human desire known as curiosity.

And there are some questions that should not be answered. 

Reports are coming in that our bustling little community has been estranged from the Hannibal fandom. READ THE REPORT HERE and tell us what you think of this. We would really love to know.
