SPL De-Verb
Normal price $59.99 Sale Price $19.99
The De-Verb MicroPlug employs the same processing technique as the original Transient Designer to reduce the ambience or reverb in your audio. SPL’s Differential Envelope Technology has revolutionized dynamics processing through a level-independent methodology.
This radically different approach eliminates the need for a threshold setting, while other parameters are set automatically as they follow the characteristics of the input signal. This leaves only one control required to professionally reshape the sustain characteristics of a sound.
Working with the De-Verb is disarmingly simple: All reverb events can be reduced – regardless of their signal level. This translates to endless possibilities for studio and live applications! Reverb curves of any sound event can be reduced very simply. The De-Verb also offers an output gain control that allows compensation for level changes after processing the signal. This ensures a simple and safe adjustment of levels while avoiding internal clipping.
Shorten the sustain period of a snare in a very musical way. Reduce tom tom ring without physically damping them. Adjust the apparent “distance” of the microphone by simply varying the Reverb Reduction value.
A perfect alternative to noise gates! With the De-Verb MicroPlug, the sustain period is shortened more musically compared to fixed release times – within seconds a drum set is significantly freed from unwanted room info.
The Analog Code
During listening tests of this technology, a hardware developer remarked that SPL had “cracked the Analog Code!” and in the process, coined the name of SPL’s software product line.
SPL hardware products can be found in the world’s top recording and mastering facilities, and have become a staple for audio professionals ranging from home studio owners to top mastering engineers. With the growth of computer based audio systems, the need for the SPL sound in plugin form has also grown. With Analog Code plugins, that coveted SPL sound is now available right inside your DAW.
Unfiltered Audio G8
Normal price $69.99 Sale Price $39.99
Overview
The Unfiltered Audio G8 takes dynamic sound shaping to the next level. Deceptively simple, G8 is a tool that reaches far beyond what any normal noise gate can do. While it does a great job at the usual tasks of rejecting noise and shaping transients, the MIDI in/out and alternate gating modes offered by G8 open a world of possibilities that let you forget you’re even using a ‘Gate’. Use G8 to create dynamic rhythm patterns on sustained sounds; trigger an envelope on G8 with MIDI input or use it to trigger notes on a MIDI instrument; produce interesting fractal sequences and auto-panning effects with Delay and Output Reject. With Cycle Mode and One-Shot, you can create dramatic motion with G8’s envelope, reducing the time value of the envelope to mere milliseconds, resulting in AM synthesis. The four-channel input in the Expert Mode of G8 allows for complex in-DAW routing of different levels and types of content. G8 can split the amplitude of a single source, allowing you to route two different characteristics of your sound to different tracks – the Mains and the Reject. From transient shaping to trance gating to polyrhythmic beat slicing, G8 can add a whole new level of endless creative possibilities to your sound. Activate the 14-day full function demo with your Plugin Alliance account to hear for yourself! New for Version 1.2:
Native AU external sidechain support
Dark Skin
Massively improved waveform drawing code
Fixed clicks and pops when changing parameters
Optional tooltips for every control
Several automation improvements, greater compatibility with external MIDI controllers
Added AAX native and VST3 formats
elysia museq
Normal price $249.99 Sale Price $79.99
Overview
The elysia museq matches premium sound shaping capabilities with optimally matched parameters and the highest quality components, enabling users to find musical results quickly and easily. The five bands and their ample gain ranges add flexibly to any tracking or mixing situation. Each of the two channels offers three parametric bands with a two-position switchable Q. The outer bands per side are low/high shelf, which can be separately switched into a low/high cut mode. In the cut mode, a resonance peak keeps the knee frequency from sounding overly damped, reminiscent of inductor circuits in classic designs. Each of the five gain controllers per side can be altered from boost to cut with a single switch for easy location of problem frequencies and twice the number of available gain steps. Each channel has a switchable option for adding strong harmonic color of the signal, making two EQs in one. Many prefer the color setting for mix use and the clean for tracking, but as always, let your ears be your guide. Brainworx, using advanced circuit modeling technology, captures all the color and nuance of the original in this remarkable plugin. They add powerful extras like an integrated M/S matrix for mid and side processing, the possibility to link both channels for more convenient stereo operation, and dedicated output level controllers for adapting your settings to the available headroom. In addition to the stereo version with all the bells and whistles, a streamlined Mix version is included that lets you get great sounds in a snap.
elysia nvelope Powerful/Flexible Tool For Attack & Sustain
Normal price $199.99 Sale Price $79.99
Overview
The original nvelope hardware is a powerful dynamics processor capable of making subtle or drastic changes to a sound by providing control over its attack and sustain characteristics. This is extremely useful for reshaping all sorts of individual tones, and is a wonderful tool in any mixing situation as well. Designed by Ruben Tilgner, whose dynamic processor designs have revolutionized the industry, the nvelope is really three products in one: in Full Range Mode it’s a powerful transient shaping tool, in Dual Band Mode it’s a frequency-based dynamics tool and in EQ Mode, it’s a pristine high and low shelf equalizer. Brainworx, using advanced circuit modeling technology, captures all the power and flexibility of the original hardware within the plugin version. The elysia nvelope takes dynamic transient shaping to the next level with innovative features like the ability to apply transient control by frequency when using Dual Band mode. In the simplified Full Range mode, a sidechain filter is added for the Attack parameter so you can adjust the influence of low frequencies when shaping impulses. Shelf EQ mode allows for a wide spectrum of high or low band coloration. Adding a second instantiation of an nvelope in Shelf EQ mode can be used to sweeten sounds already treated with one of the impulse shaping modes. The nvelope operates independently of the specific level of a signal, and (unlike with compressors) you do not have to spend a lot of time trying to balance a set of complex controls to quickly get the results you seek. The nvelope can change the character of a sound by altering its impulse structure, giving you direct control over the envelope of a signal by shaping its attack and sustain intensity. For example, drum tracks can be made to sound more aggressive and punchy by accenting the attack, or tones that are already overly aggressive can be easily tamed. The nvelope can also be used to adjust the sustain of a sound, offering control over room sound and space. An instrument or a reverb tail can sound tighter by reducing its sustain, or can gain more depth/make a signal sound longer by increasing it.
