There is a pun somewhere about the cackling energy I have when I think about zapped, is there any sentences can be shared with the class?
i can imagine you cackling and it's brightening my day. zapped, my beloved.. .
it's most definitely a dark comedy atp. confused fiddlebill feelings abound. there are grief metaphors and grief actualities, metatextual and genre-bending inserts (which i know you particularly will enjoy lol), and a cameo by a friend. i might stick JG in there bc i can.
it's difficult to talk about this draft without spoiling some of the bigger plot points. there's a lot of contrivances that don't make sense out of context, and tbh most of the things i *can* share are already under the tag #anthem for the zapped (in the form of those silly lil moodboards). but here's a brief synopsis that just about touches the tip of the iceberg: Fiddleford and Bill are forced to team up to save Ford from something, and nobody likes this at all.
yes there are codependent and unstable feelings for Ford (from both Fidds and Bill). yes there is violence. yes there is weird sex, separate (somewhat) from said violence. the Axolotl makes a judgment call. Bill doesn't have insurance. actually Fidds doesn't either.
they hate each other so, so incredibly much. as i said in the tags, it's like if "hair trigger" and "triple-dog dare" had a weird and fucked-up baby.
the townspeople really wish they'd quit coming to town, the librarian wants to know what sort of twisted yaoi is going on here, and Fiddleford McGucket has a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad time.
