READING the reports on the things she’d done -- would’ve done, if she’d stayed in the 1950s -- baffles her. That she can do both..be there and here is a difficult concept to understand. But the part that gets her -- really just crushes her heart -- is the eventual collapse of SHIELD. Peggy’s aware when the door opens, but she doesn’t bother looking up. Feeling like she’s been robbed of her life is...not a feeling she’s enjoying.

Steve is a affectionate person, especially if he knows them well. Steve is all about hugs and positive contact. He will, almost eagerly, quote Virginia Satir’s ‘we need four hugs a day for survival.’ Steve will totally give quintuple that if he knows that he’s allowed. Steven is a huge cuddle bug, but he also is very supportive of body autonomy and personal space. More often than not, he’ll ask somebody if he can give them a hug before simply just doing so.Sometimes fans will come up and hug him at random, and he knows from experience how jarring that can be; but he often quickly recovers from such events once he realizes it’s not an attack on his person. Steve’s got big ol arms for hugging; let it be known.

“ god, end me, sharon. if you’ve ever cared about me, you’ll kill me. ”  maybe slightly more on the dramatic side than was normal for natasha, but she was tired and achy and these things aren’t supposed to happen to her.  “ no, seriously, I’ll write you a note and everything excusing my murder. it’s a mercy kill, no one would be mad at you. ”

         Faith doesn't even look like she's trying. Slumped back in a chair, feet up on the table in front of her. She looks disinterested, but she's not. Hostile. Angry, even, at having her wings clipped. She's wrapping her hand a bit tighter than she needs to. Doesn't really feel it, "You done? 'Cause while we're playing debate team, our walls are about to come crashing down and you wanna, what. Sit here, wait?"

Patience, thy name is not Faith and waiting's not her thing. Makes her nervous, antsy. Stabby. Faith pushes the chair out, loudly, as she stands. Plucks her jacket off the back, "Yeah, I got a plan. I'm gonna go out there and stab these things with a piece of wood, fifty or sixty times. See if it sticks. You wanna duck and cover, ride out the storm? Feel free."

          Finally... A familiar face. 

Maria hasn’t seen Sharon in what feels like forever, not since they’d gone their separate ways. Going underground hadn’t been as kind to Maria as she’d have liked, but it’s a relief to be able to show her face outside again without hiding it under the brim of a cap.

 “Remind me again why we hang out with a bunch of superheros?” He asked before plopping a few more fries into his mouth. Sure he mostly meant it as a joke, but there was definitely something nice about getting to spend time with someone who had common sense. Sure he knew that he technically counted as a superhero now a days but he liked to think he still wasn’t as bad as them when it came to the utter.. ridiculousness.
