Nathaniel had always been so careful around Gaeul, treasuring her as one of his close friends. That night though, he couldn't help but stop for a moment. She looked so beautiful under the moonlight, her shoulders slender around his arm. "Hey," he spoke, so softly that he might have been hoping for her not to have heard. Their eyes met, Nathaniel's hand resting on her waist. He pulled her in by the waist, whispering a faint 'I'm Sorry' before pulling her into a deep kiss.

She had only complained once about not being able to see the stars in Seoul because of the city lights but apparently that was all it took for Nathaniel to come pick her up at work one day and drive them to the countryside where the sky was filled with bright and sparkling dots all over. It was perfect, really and Gaeul was forever thankful for the male to be so considerate towards her. When she heard his voice, after a long moment of silence as they were mesmerized by the sight offered to them, she could only turn her attention to him, a small smile on her lips and her eyes full of curiosity until he pulled her closer. Her eyes widened ever so slightly and her hand clumsily rested on his chest while she wondered what was happening. Her answer came when he pressed his lips against hers. Her logical side knew that it was going to affect their friendship, that she shouldn’t kiss him back. But Gaeul was a romantic at heart. And being kissed under the night sky full of stars was surely for her very romantic - although she knew in the back of her mind that it was probably something usual for him.
And yet, despite all the warnings she still kissed him back, slowly.
