Time away from the stress of her life, was time she could dedicate to more personal pursuits! She could spend the day shopping! It was one of the few things she hadn’t got to enjoy since the war ended. Outside of the trip with the girls she honestly hadn’t had much free time. With helping Jewel with Restoration efforts, and now reassuming her rule as a military commander she was right back to work it felt like. She kind of missed the days of chasing Sonic! He was so far away though probably chasing after Eggman, or lazing around under some tree. There she goes again thinking about him when she wanted to do anything but!
She rounded a corner of the Mall sighing as her ears folded back, her mind lost in a moment of weakness. The spell she’d cast all those years ago, still made her mind hyper focus on him. As a child she never realized it wasn’t her own feelings but as an adult it was blatantly obvious. She’d tried to break the spell a few times but it always ended in failure, and it wasn’t like she wouldn’t date him but he was obviously just not into her.
She’d been so caught up in her own lament over Sonic that she ended up bumping into some poor woman in front of her. The feline girl was tall at least a head taller then she was, and Amy nearly fell down from the bump! She immediately held her hands up flushing in her cheeks in embarrassment!
