It’s been far too long since I savored one of the terrific farmhouse style beers put out by Grimm. I photographed Tra La La, their biere de miel, in several different lights and each bathed the bottle in a different hue. Ultimately I like the bottom example best because of the golden, warm, honey colored light that washed over the delicious honey-infused brew.

On our biannual trip to the Adirondacks for thanksgiving we found a new brewery to check out. Just south of Saratoga Springs by about 20 minutes is @unifiedbeerworks in Malta, NY. They’ve got a cool, sizable taproom inside a huge industrial building giving them lots of options for the future. They’ve only been open for a little while now but are putting out some tasty stuff.
