Not far from Foley Brother Brewing in Brandon, VT is the new @redcloveralecompany. The town and brewery make me feel like I’m in a scene from It’s A Wonderful Life or something. Nearly everything in this welcoming taproom, wood wise, was repurposed from an old local barn. With tasty beers and a cozy, authentic feel, you’ll have a hard time wanting to leave. We picked one cold ass day to stop by @foleybrothers in Brandon, VT. Not only was it cold and windy but the phone service was questionable at best. The great thing about that is it gives you time to enjoy the beer and the company you’re with. Their IPAs are a nice reminder of where this haze craze all started but the beer that got me was the Double Maple Brown. It is just as good if not better than I remember it being. Do yourself a favor and go get lost in Vermont. On our biannual trip to the Adirondacks for thanksgiving we found a new brewery to check out. Just south of Saratoga Springs by about 20 minutes is @unifiedbeerworks in Malta, NY. They’ve got a cool, sizable taproom inside a huge industrial building giving them lots of options for the future. They’ve only been open for a little while now but are putting out some tasty stuff. @beautyofthebeer and I took the #SteeplePeople bus line for #MugClubNight on Friday to the new @labyrinthbrewing in Manchester, CT. I’ll be honest, I didn’t try the entire offering. It all started and stopped for me when I had the Nymph’s Nectar, their session IPA. I’m a sucker for a hoppy, 5% beer and this definitely fit the bill. The beer isn’t the only thing about this place. They’ve got super friendly #beerwizards and an amazing atmosphere. These guys have been open for about 3 months now and are already making an impression.
