Three days ago I was in danger of heatstroke. And now I’m huddled under my comforter because the breeze from my window is a little chilly. Can we please stop with the pollution

BluePerk: Third Day of Interviews
My Selection:
Button Down: DKNY Jeans: H&M Shoes: Steve Madden Belt: H&M Tie: Calvin Klein Watch: Marc by Marc Jacobs Messenger Bag: J Crew
My Thoughts:
Unfortunately due to not having my boyfriend with me on this trip and excessive heat in New York, I was not able to take a photo in the city for this outfit. This is a stock photo I took before my trip to make sure my look was appropriate.
So here is my third and final look of my four day stint in the city being interviewed for a possible Fall 2011 internship. I was thinking a much more darker color palette than my other looks, for this look I started with my DKNY button down that I had not worn since I first bought a year ago when I was still working for Saks. This is one thing I do a lot, I'll shop and purchase for an occasion I hope will later happen in life. Yet another reason why my boyfriend says I'm addicted to shopping. Back to my outfit though, I knew skinny jeans would be a perfect touch to my button down and tie was the extra color my look needed. Even though my jeans are H&M they looked great on. Further proving that not everything has to be a high end brand to look good.
This look was first for just in case measures and luckily I made it, just a day before I left for Nyc. I got an email from Cosmopolitan asking me to come in for an interview on Thursday. Luckily this was my last interview, as the city was only getting more hot each day I was there. I had my interview at 11 am, with a very nice woman that I felt was surprised to be interviewing me. This interview as well was only 10 minutes long with less questions and what felt like more room to grow within the internship position. I have yet to hear back from her, but she did sound very promising.
With this look being a conclusion to my three day, five interview session. I hope you've gained some insight in how I dress up and what I am currently doing with my future endeavors.
BluePerk: Second Day of Interviews
My Selection:
Button Down: Ben Sherman Pants: Griffith Shoes: Sperry's Belt: H&M Tie: J Crew Watch: Marc by Marc Jacobs Messenger Bag: J Crew
My Thoughts:
On my second day of interviews I had my two biggest internship interviews that I wanted. Each an elite within it's own publishing company. I started by selecting my outfit with my first interview of the day. I had to wear my favorite pair of red chinos, they were the perfect look to set myself apart. The accessories and button down just finished the look I built around my pants. My boyfriends messenger bag was the finishing professional touch to hold my resume.
My morning started with my rushing to my 10 am interview. I arrived ten minutes early, only to be left waiting for 45 minutes until I had my interview surrounded my other girls in the lobby that didn't know where to go. I stressed the most for this interview, making sure I knew an answer to any and every question I would be asked. After only ten minutes, my interviews was over and I felt that it could have gone either way.
My next interview wasn't until 3 pm, with 4 hours to kill in the city during the most horrible heat wave I have ever had to experience. I spent my time relaxing in the west village down Bleecker street for a couple of hours. Until I decided to surprise the girls at my old internship at 10Eleven Showroom, with my surprise at how excited they were to see me. This was a great boost that I needed just before my second interview of the day.
Second interview of the day was at the start of the day my second choice. Until after I finished my only ten minute interview that felt like a second. Afterwards though I felt so refreshed, she made me feel so welcomed and even complemented me on my pants. My experience waiting and getting to this interview was much easier. Minus the prep I had to do, since I had been sweating profusely while walking around the city in a button down. Though I may have had a long day. This interview really made the difference in my overall outlook of the day.
With my huge surprise after emailing each of the ladies that interviewed the next day. Within thirty minutes they each replied with offering me an internship with them in the fashion closet. I have been torn with which one to choose. Any help with my decision?
