Finally the confirmation Shinya going back to normal again
Sticking to my BakuShot spirit, I couldn’t help but imagine Katsuki accompanying Shinya to get his treatments everytime his busy agenda allowed him to do so.
Bakugou probably even tried to contribute financially to the treatments, but obviously Shinya and B.J decline because isn't really needed and Shinya thinks his presence matters much more, something that makes Katsuki cry a little (poor emotional disaster boy).
Imagine if in one occasion Katsuki was going to pick Shinya and B.J to the airport, but without knowing anything he gets the shocking view of Shinya being mostly restored to his own self and walking again, some medical miracle apparently.
Without thinking too much, Katsuki runs and lift Shinya for kiss him ignoring everything else.
Obviously when realizing they're in public he starts panicking, but Shinya pulls him for another kiss.
Meanwhile B.J is just watching the whole thing just thinking "finally".
Of course Katsuki would hover and fuss over Shinya at every opportunity. Deku's suit funding took so long bc Katsuki kept flying overseas to check on him.
I like to think Katsuki got very close with Tsunagu during this time. Whether or not it's a polycule persay is something even they can't really answer but Jeanist cares for both of them very dearly, both individually as friends and as a blooming couple.
Katsuki would absolutely confide in Tsunagu during times they were both back home during Shinya's treatment. No matter how many times they tell him Shinya made that choice to trade his life for Katsuki's, he still feels guilty. He regrets that he wasn't strong enough to avoid that ultimatum entirely and Tsunagu is always ready to listen, ply him with some alcohol so he cries a bit easier, gets it out of his system faster. He doesn't judge or argue, he just gives him a safe place to feel his own emotions until Shinya can come home to them.
