Gothy fun for Me-Made-May! Tho I’ll probably be a day behind on posting- my spoons are limited in the mornings thus outfit photos are easier to take at night. Otoh, if I can get the balcony cleaned up, some natural light photos in the morning would be nice. I just haven’t had the energy to tackle the lighting problem here, although the new photo app is super helpful. Here I’m wearing the heavyweight linen shirt, b/c NYC suddenly decided spring was done after a week and we’re on to summer now :-P The color is already washing out of the fabric, and the black embroidery is starting to pop more, which was the plan. I also made the lightweight rib knit leggings, but not the Eyes dress from Killstar. I do have another dress in this fabric that had to go into the refashioning bin due to fit problems, so there will eventually be something me-made with foil Eyes of Horus. If Killstar sold its fabric by the bolt I’d probably be their most dedicated customer. But likely also their only customer, which is why they don’t sell yardage. *sigh* Lots of sewcialists have different goals and reasonings for doing a Me Made May challenge. I have plenty of handmade garments I wear out of the house, but I’m really bad at getting pictures of my stuff. So my goal will be more about remembering the sewing-selfies than making more stuff. I still have a long list of projects and stash materials to get thru, but sadly my bod just isn’t up for working on that right now. Or at least I have some other household stuff to work on first :-/
