Since Alphys is alive, how's she doing? She helped save some people/got them to escape. What's life like for her and them now? How is she doing, is she coping, does she still have anyone with her to help out? (Did Mettaton perish? I can only assume yes but still worth asking. If he didn't, is he with Alphys, how is he, etc?)

She’s… still not taking it very well, for obvious reasons. Sure, she helped save plenty of people but she still couldn’t save the people close to her. She had a camera in the Judgement Hall though it simply kept glitching out and she couldn’t tell what happened. All she knows is that the feed was cut mid-way into the fight and it wasn’t… going well. So she’s under the assumption everyone she ever loved is dead or corrupted.

Her life is hard. She’s trying to manage the ones she got out of the pathway of destruction but the other towns won’t accept them in fear of attracting the “Angel”. Thankfully, Asgore being alive makes it a tad easier since she’s not trying to carry the entire burden herself. Even then, she’s working on trying the make the Trail hospitable again but the fact that Waterfall has to be entirely quarantined off makes it difficult to traverse to a good chunk of the Underground. Still, she and the survivors are managing somewhat well considering the circumstances.

Mettaton did, unfortunately, perish. I can say that he, Mew Mew, and Napsta went out with quite the finale, though, as far more time to work on things meant a far less incomplete NEO. Though that’s a big drabble for another day ;)
